November, 2001 (Month 6)(images from August 7 to September 5) |
(New pictures at the bottom.) Month 6 begins (and now concludes)! All of the Halloween pictures are here...plus others reflecting life as a 6-month old. Let's see...now I can move forward in my walking chair (as opposed to just backwards), I'm taking swimming lessons weekly (and I hardly cry when I go under the water), I can sit up pretty good on my own, and I have a favorite new sound: "Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba". (Yes, that's about how many times I say it in a 5 second span.) Oh...and I'm eating solid foods (well, rice cereal, anyway). (Update...also eating Oatmeal this month!) (Update: Peas, Barley and Rice, too!) (Final update for the month: I eat ice, Cheerios, Potatoes, Yams...I'm an equal-opportunity eater!) Life continues to be good! |

...you must admit...they came out great! | (These will be replaced with scans soon.)
OK...here comes all the Halloween pictures... | Halloween night, on the porch!
Daddy thinks he's a real golfer. | Mommy's the Cat in the Hat!
A cat, a dog, and some scary stuffed guy. | A few days before Halloween...
...we went to a festival. | I can sit better with pumpkins.
I love being in the stroller! | In the car, on the way to the festival.
Yes, Mommy likes to take pictures...everywhere. | Here's me and grandpa!
He's fun. And I like my costume. | Although it means more camera time.
Moving forward instead of just backwards! | How'd this pumpkin get here? (Mommy?)
I really enjoy my solid foods. | Sitting on the counter! (Daddy's favorite.)
(There
doesn't have to be a picture in every space...) |
Me and Daddy Saturday morning!
Week 2 begins! |
Mommy took me and Peanut outside on the patio. | And I tried to lick the camera.
Mommy, what's on your shoe? | Peanut...is that you I smell?
I'm extremely concerned about that smell. | Ah, that's OK...I love you anyway!
Who? What? A picture? | OK, I'll smile for the camera...again.
Daddy took these Sunday morning. | I'll sit and play with toys for a long time!
It's lots of fun. Look, I can make my hands blurry! | I like this new ball...
...but, as usual, I like Peanut even more. | Oatmeal time!
I'm not the cleanest eater... | ...but it sure tastes good!
And I'm proud when I eat it all! | I *love* bouncing in my bouncy seat.
Mommy and me went on the grass Sunday. | I kept picking it.
(There
doesn't have to be a picture in every space...) |
I think I'm going to like it here.
Week 3 begins: |
Alex watches Daddy play flag football. | You can tell she's thrilled.
OK, enough of this. When's lunch? | Alex went in the swing at the park!
That's Natalie, Alex's new friend (same age). | We're already best buds!
The helping hand of Mommy is never far away. | There she is...my favorite Mommy!
Week 3 ends...sorry, not many pictures this week! | We'll make up for it over Thanksgiving.
Week 4 begins! |
I go to swimming class a few times a week... | This lady puts me underwater...UGH!
Daddy came home one night and helped! | He seems to enjoy it more than me...
Now we're in Tucson...and Grandpa is feeding me PEAS! | What's Grandpa doing...?
He thinks I'll eat them if he eats 'em first! | Things got pretty messy.
Here I am watching the adults play baseball... | Look, Grandpa's pitching! (And nicely, too.)
Here's my new game: Where's Alex? Where's Alex? | And then I PULL the cloth off my head...
And I'm very proud of myself! | Here's Aunt Monique (and my outfit!).
After a hearty Thanksgiving meal, I fell asleep... | ...on Daddy's chest, with football on TV.
And now...the whole family goes bowling! | I sat with Mommy...
...and Daddy... | ...and Grandma Bernie (yes, I'm funny).
It's fun to bowl with Daddy... | ...even if these pictures were just staged.
Mommy and Daddy's attempt to show my teeth... | ...can you see the other one coming in?
Oooh...my next new thing: crawling! | Well, I can't crawl yet...
...but I can assume the position! (And look cute!) | I REALLY like Woody, the cat.
I grab him tightly...and he doesn't mind! | Look...I can even pose AND pet!
Week 5! |
This time, Daddy took the pictures at swim class. | Look, the teacher puts me underwater!
Sometimes I'm actually happy in the pool! | I am the master of my toy domain.
So, this week: solid foods. Cheerios? | Wait, this doesn't seem right.
Mmm...but it tastes pretty good! | Yeah, it's yummy! Thanks, Mommy!
I am the godfather baby. What can I do for you? | These are the eyes I look at Daddy with.
