May 2 - June 5 I started by reading poems at class for Mother's Day. Then we all went to Benihana's!

  Before Mommy got up, we took some pictures. Daddy thought this was the best one.

  We went to the mall later, and played with this car... ...and got to ride a Merry-go-round! My favorite!

  This one was kind of funny. This one would have been good if Charlie was looking.
 
  I was a little huggy in this one... ...and I didn't quite hold the sign up here.
 
  It works better when I'm by myself. I don't like that Charlie is holding my Joey.
 
  But a purring Sandy makes everything OK. Are we done with this picture yet?
 
  There are few things I like more than the pool. Although I think I have to go to the bathroom.
 
  I helped my sister in the water! I could play here all day. (Literally.)
 
  Just don't tell me it's time to go home! Now we're back at class with my friend Maggie.
 
  I showed Mommy our plant experiments. And then we went outside and did the pledge!
 
  Sometimes Mommy and I take walks in the flowers. Now it's time for my birthday!
 
  We played a fun game with these streamers first. Then we all sat down for Chinese food!
 
  I played with this neat tea set Lisa let us borrow. And posed for a picture in the midst of the chaos.
 
  This was a "freeze" game with music. We all got these neat fans to play with!
 
  It kept me cool as the stomach virus started to take hold. I wasn't feeling so great even while we were playing.
 
  I was a trooper, though, and got my cupcake! A little reserved (but I still ate my cupcake, of course).
 
  Then I was a REAL trooper for pictures.  Here's Natalie... ...and here's Lydia, who loaned us tons of party stuff!
 
  Here I am with Maggie... ...and Charlie, of course.
 
  This is Ashley... ...and this is my best friend, 6-year-old Erin.
 
  Here's my neighbor Grace (almost 8)... ...and this is Ayla.
 
  Here's my other neighbor Georgio... ...and this is Paige. (Although not the short-haired one.)
 
  Here are the twins, Avi and Rosie... ....and this is Tia.
 
  Here's my Nina, of course... ...and here's Papa.
 
  And here's the two of them! Of course, here's my Daddy...
 
  ...and my Mommy.... ...and my friend Savanna.
 
  And finally, here's Daddy and Mommy together! Later, we all played in my new boat sandbox.
 
  I was the captain! But I still wasn't feeling well.
 
  I posed for one more picture... ...and then everyone left, and I tried to relax.
 
  The next day (after I slept 14 hours), I opened gifts! And I played with Joey, of course.
 
  Then we went miniature golfing! I'm getting really good at it.
 
  I try to make the ball in the hole with the putter now! Back home, a few more pictures...
 
  ...do you think I can ride on Charlie's back? Hi, Daddy!
 
  They have this neat birthday celebration at school. First, they put a sun down with months around it.
 
  Then I walk around it with a globe... ...one time around for each year of my life!
 
  Then everyone sings Happy Birthday... ...and I just sit there and smile.
 
  Finally, everyone congratulates me on my special day. Here's my costume (and make-up!) for my dance recital!
 
  I did so good...I wasn't even nervous! Just some of the chaos backstage.
 
There are 15 movies this month!

The girls get to play with the cats! (19 sec.)
Now the girls play and dance with the piano. (16 sec.)
Charlie and Alex say hi to Daddy on the swing! (7 sec.)
All the party girls play with fans at Alex's birthday! (16 sec.)
Everyone sings Happy Birthday to Alex! (45 sec.)
Alex gets a birthday cupcake. (14 sec.)

Alex makes some food at the pool. (15 sec.)
And then she jumps off the side! (5 sec.)
Alex starts her neat birthday ceremony at school... (21 sec.)
