December, 2003 (Month 31)(images from August 7 to September 5)



I'm well over 2 1/2 now, and I'm growing up every day.  My speaking skills are very good now (when I'm comfortable, I won't stop talking, and I can put great grown-up sentences together all the time).  I sing and dance all the time -- I probably know over 100 songs by now.  I still cry nearly every time I get dropped off at school (usually twice a week), but I'm starting to get better.  I don't throw many tantrums these days, and when I do, they're always because I'm either tired or hungry (both things that can be rectified!).  Although I don't really like to take naps -- I've negotiated with my parents that as long as I don't throw tantrums, I'm not tired enough to go down for the afternoon.  I still panic a bit when I can't find Mommy (sometimes), but again, this is usually only when I'm tired.  I'm starting to read now, and can recognize about 10 words and at least that many letters and numbers.

  This is me at my school! Mommy took a good picture of me with Charlie.

  I cried when we had to sit on Santa's lap. I'm still crying a little here.

  I got a great bed from Nina and Papa for my dolls. Daddy, let's open this one!
