October 22, 2006:
We welcomed Chase Bennett Fisher into the world at 6:45am on the morning of Saturday, September 30, 2006.

Mommy went into labor at 3:30 am, just after the monthly poker game ended (Daddy had gotten an hour of sleep before Mommy's water broke). We headed to the hospital, and after a comparitively easy and short delivery (3 hours start to finish), Chase made his debut appearance.

He made everything so easy on Mommy, in fact, that we were sent home just over 24 hours later.  Chase's sisters (Alex and Charlie) were thrilled to finally meet and hold him.

A quick overview of Chase's first few weeks of life:

• He was 7 pounds even, and 20 inches long (the smallest of the three Fisher Kids).

• He had a bit of jaundice in the first weeks, that's just now going away.

• He's quite the eater, sleeper and sucker (and pooper)...that about covers his activities during this first month.

We've got one movie so far: A movie right after Chase is born! (15 sec.)

Mommy made a photo slideshow, and we've also got pictures from the first week of life.

We'll be updating Chase's site (hopefully) more often than his sisters' sites over these first few months...but Alex's site and Charlie's site just got updated as well, so go check them out!!
