Charlie loves being in and around the water or beach.  Although she only likes warm water.  Charlie started preschool for the first time.  She loves it. She loves "working" at school.  She practices cutting with scissors, making necklaces, sorting, doing her numbers and sounds.  She loves to play on the swings and play structure outside and  tries to ride the tricycles.  But all that work and a short nap makes Charlie tired after school.  She has warm milk and a small snack on her way home from school.  Then she takes off her shoes and plays make believe with her toys.  By 5:30 she is ready for dinner. 

Charlie's latest shoot was for a butterfly costume.  It was on location at a local park.  She did a great job and had fun with her ladybug friend.  When they were all done she got to keep her costume too!

Charlie was very interested in the baby coming.  She pretends that she has a baby in her tummy too. She says, "Mommy has a boy baby in her tummy and I have a girl baby in my tummy."  She wants us to feel her baby kick and likes to play doctor and have her baby or her baby puppy.  Charlie was very excited to meet her baby brother for the first time in the hospital.  She wanted to hold him and kiss him.

  • Loves make-believe play. Doll houses, Harry Potter Toys, animals -- anything make-believe gives her hours of play-time. Great at puzzles, and likes to build intricate towers with blocks.

  • Eating pretty well but likes her food plain.  Her favorite food remains pasta and pizza and she loves her milk.  Her favorite dessert: "Popcorn".

  • Loves to meet new people  but has begun to pretend to be shy. 

  • Loves to hold Mommy's hand and follows her wherever she goes.

  • Definitely a  "Mommy's Girl", but she affectionate with Daddy too.

  • Most of the time, Charlie wears a dress but lately she's begun to add in skirts and once in a while pants.  She almost always picks out her own clothes.

  • Doesn't like her hair brushed at times.  It's difficulty to brush those curls without hurting her. 

  • Plays nicely with her sister and is usually happy to share but sometimes just wants to play by herself.
Ah.. the beach. I like digging my toes in the sand.
I got some water for my sand castle... and then I stood in the shade because I was hot.
I had a little snack... and played with my dinosaurs.
The beach was great! It's my first day of preschool.
I had snack... and shared some with Jaisel.
I played on the swings... and tried to ride the tricycle.
I listened to the teacher too. What did you say?
I sure like school! After school I went to see Nani and Papa.
Time to get my teeth cleaned.  Uggh!  I got grumpy at this party because it was during nap time.
Now it time to do a little modeling. I'm a purple butterfly.
I stood in the grass... and made different poses...
while the photographer took my picture. Fly!!    Fly!!     Fly!!
We went to see Mickey and Minnie Mouse show ... so both Alex and I dressed up.
Time for playing after school... it's Dora's birthday.
Mommy has my baby brother in her tummy... see how big her tummy is?
I kissed mommy's baby... and she kissed mine.
Alex and I tried to listen to our baby brother... but we couldn't hear much.
I did feel him kick though. This is my family...
and I love them. My baby brother is here!
Alex got to hold him too. We all climbed on mommy's bed at the hospital.
Nani and Papa held Chase too. He was so little.
We all wanted to hold him. I think he's so cute!
I just want to kiss him... and hug him!
