September, 2003 (Month 2)



Charlie is now over six weeks old!  Her hobbies include eating and sleeping, with some spit ups and poops in there every once in awhile.  She's not sleeping as well as she did in her first few weeks;  although her lack of sleep during the day can translate into nice long stretches at night.  (But the whole "unable to relax enough to go to sleep on her own during the day" issue leads to a lot of crying.)  She loves the car (it calms her if it's moving), and she's partial to the skylight in the living room.

Sept. 1-8: We went to the track on Sunday...I slept... ...but then I woke up!  (This is my best pic so far!)
Check me out, Daddy! Ooh...that was a good one.  (Excuse me.)
Look at you, look at you! My sister, as usual, held me often.
She seems to think I'm funny. I just stared blankly at her.
Umm...a little lighter on the hugs, sis! It's the 3 Fisher girls!
Aw, it's so cute when she kisses me! Ugh...not so tight around the neck!
OK, we're back home now...and I can't sleep! Maybe a little tummy time will help.
I can get a little fussy during the day. And it doesn't help when I have a finger pointing at me.
What?  Huh?  Who's there? Oh, just you Mommy. (plbbt!)
Later, I'll lose some of this baby fat. Peek a boo!
It's the purple girls! I love my sister.

Sept. 9-15
Let's start with a few sitting pictures. This is me, just kicking it.
And here's my surprised look. No, wait...this is my surprised look.
Here's my happy look... And this is my "I just passed gas" look.
Now we're going on a boat...I slept for a bit. Then I woke up!  (it's very sunny, though.)
Look, here are the girls on the boat! And this is me and Mommy.
I sneezed on the way home... ...and then went right back to sleep.
This is me, all snug and cozy. And now I'm at the doctor's office...uh oh!
I weight 10 pounds, 6 oz...I've gained 2+ pounds! What's this nice lady going to do?
Oh, no!  It's my shots!  (Watch!) Mommy consoled me afterwards.

Sept. 16-28
I really like my bouncy chair. What?  You're taking me out?
Oh, good.  Just leave me here. Sometimes I sleep in my crib...I'm learning!
Mommy thought I looked cute in this outfit. Here we are at a wedding on the beach!
This is me in my gym.  I bat at the toys. Although people keep sticking a camera in my face.
Sometimes I like to lie on my side... ...and sometimes, on my tummy.
I can lift my head pretty good now... ...and even crack a little smile!
I don't even need my hat on to do it. Mommy...you have some milk for me?
The whole family went on train ride! Yes, that's a gorilla in front of us. (It's at the zoo.)
This is me and Daddy at our first baseball game! I was so well-behaved all night.
The crowd was a little overwhelming, though. But we still took a good family shot!
And if Mommy was looking, this would have been perfect. My sister likes to touch my face a lot.
See?  Even when she's not looking! This weekend, we went to a street fair.
Alex watched over me...I just stayed out of the sun. Ah, nice and shady.
Something must have been very funny. OK, now for the two-month pictures!
Is that my favorite skylight up there? Tummy time!
