November, 2003 (Month 4)

Charlie can now roll-over, and she can laugh as well (somewhat regularly, anyway).  She can recognize both of her parents (specifically Mommy, for whom she gives a big smile when she enters the room).  Charlie is extremely tolerant of Alex, who can be a little rough at times...but rarely does she cry when Alex squeezes or holds her too tight!  Her head-holding is very good -- when she's on her back, she holds it up like she's trying to sit up.  She can pretty much stand up, holding her own weight (of course, we have to balance her).  But she's very strong.  And easy-going -- much more so than Alex was.  And finally, she's pretty independent -- of course, she needs to be held sometimes (and walking around will generally pacify her), but she's content to sit on the couch by herself for stretches at a time.  Generally, Charlie is an easy baby!  (We needed it!)

Oct 29 - Nov 10 Look, I'm a bear...for Halloween! Farmer Daddy and Little Red Riding Hood dressed up.
But I liked being held by Farmer Daddy best. Ooh, what's that?  Scary Halloween!
I like to hang out in the bouncy seat sometimes. See?  A big smile for the bouncy seat!
This is me in the car seat with a hat on. This is too (but here, I'm being pensive...note the hands).
I'm naked on a white towel!  Look at me! Should I roll over this way?
Nope, I'll go the other way.  (Watch!) Ah, lying comfortably on my back again!
Can you guess how old I am? Mommy dressed me up for my 3 month pictures.
OK, that's a wrap?  Good. Wait, Daddy...I thought we were done.  Pick me up!
OK, that's it.  We're done!  Where's my agent? Who's above you, Alex?  Is that Mommy?
Alex likes to show me her doll... ...I wonder if I'll like these when I get older?
Daddy put up another swing, so we can swing together! More tummy time on my exercise mat.
Ooh, I can't wait -- a trip to the zoo! I got a little tired.
Here are the 3 movies for the week:

I'm getting pretty good at rolling over! (9 sec.)
I actually like tummy time (unlike my sister did). (12 sec.)
More tummy time! (13 sec.)

Nov 11-Nov 30
I posed for some professional pictures this week! Yes, I'm a very happy baby.
This one came out good, don't you think? Hey, don't look at my butt!
This one wasn't too flattering. Now we're at the playground, in my hat!
Alex and I like to wear the same clothes sometimes. Look at me in the swing!
I can do it by myself!  (Watch!) It's fun when Alex and I do it together, though.
Especially when we all go down the slide! OK, here's my latest photo shoot!
I'll just sit and do whatever they want me to. Hey, is that my real Mommy over there?
This is me with one of the products. Mommy, I think this is my better side!
At the parade, Alex watched the floats... ...while I pretty much just watched Alex.
(picture deleted)
Now we're up in Sonoma for Thanksgiving (with Nina)! I had to wear this thing to stay warm.  (That's Orion too!)
Don't I look cute, all snuggled up? Daddy held me and Orion at dinner.
I wonder where my Mommy is? Papa got to hold me some too...
...and so did Nina! Alex came over and pulled on me a little.
And now we're on a train! I looked right at the camera on this shot.
But mostly, I just sat quietly with Daddy. And sometimes with Papa.
I got sick last week...Alex did too. But we felt good enough to go visit GG!
Although in this picture, we're not too sure. Now Grandpa and Daddy are trying to dress me...
Grandpa, I don't think that's the way to do it. Oh, well...just more time for me to be a good baby.
Here's the one movie for the week:

I can go on a baby swing now! (6 sec.)

Last picture:  At Aunt Kathy's new house!
