July, 2004 (Month 13)(images from July 8 to August 3)



Lots of walking, some basic talking, and now we're getting word recognition:  "Where's your head?" elicits a pat on the head.
I'm happy to be at Alex's ballet class! Look, if she can dance, I can walk. (Watch!)
I don't even crawl anymore. Alex and I went to a ladybug party...
...and I held my cup just like the big girls. When we got home, we played with our loot!
And I pretended I was still at the party. Here I am at breakfast with Grandma!
Now I'm practicing for my own birthday (at another party). This is the first in a series of pictures for my modeling career.
Here's another one (one of Daddy's favorites)... ...and this one (when it's lighter) is a favorite of the agency.
This is me looking a lot older than I am... ...and this is me about to eat some sand.
Here I am clapping in the grass... ...and now an outfit change, looking back...
....and with a cool hat on, looking at this flower. OK, now we're at the pool, where I love to walk! (Watch!)
Mommy's friend took a picture of us. Now we're at a different pool...I just love the water!
Hooray! (The shot of the month.) I'm usually happy just to play around the house.
Sometimes I like to feed myself...with hilarious results! We went to the beach, and I didn't cry in the water!
These next six pictures are from a shoot in Santa Barbara. It was in a beautiful house right on the water!
They took pictures of me walking around... ...and I was in a good mood the whole time.
This was from one of the photo shoots... ...and then they had me walk around in my diaper!
And now...we're home, for my birthday party! I got to swim a lot -- we had a water party!
When it was finally time to blow out my candles... ...Alex helped me.
She wanted me to try the cake... ...and while I put my hands in it...
...and even tried it... ...it was a little messy...
...and I didn't like it very much. Alex and I played with my new toys after the party.
Now we're at another shoot... ...and Mommy was smart enough to bring my favorite toys.
Alex and I got to ride in this car at the mall. Here's my famous kitchen drawer trick! (Watch!)
I'll crawl in the drawer whenever I can. Here's the dog! ("Ba")
I almost never cry, even when I plop down. And I love to get right back up!
Here's me and Alex playing outside. We got to go in the sandbox!  I love it!
Alex and I can play in the sandbox for hours. OK, gotta run -- see you next month!
